The Oman Environmental Atlas is an advanced digital platform for collecting, organizing, and documenting environmental data in its various dimensions. It supports efforts aimed at protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, and ensuring their sustainability for the present of the Sultanate of Oman and for future generations.
This project is part of the comprehensive national vision that places the Omani environment at the center of scientific research and community interest. It is the result of a scientific and knowledge-based partnership between the Diwan of Royal Court and Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, integrating the expertise of the Environmental Studies and Research Center and the Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems Research Center at the university.
